The surface of the frescoes is visibly and palpably slightly rough and grooved. The surface of the plaster has crevices from omitted material, protrusions resulting from the formation of grooves and is slightly wavy after application with a spatula, the surface may also be cracked. The color of the plaster used in the frescoes is white. Acrylic paints and glazes have begun to be applied to the white plaster. The top surface of the plaster becomes smooth and matte after sanding.
